Some help with geometry math problem please?

We Answered:

Cross multiply:
10x (j+1)=5x4
you get:
10j+10=20
Then you simplify it to:
10j=10
so:
j=1

Proportions are mostly solved by cross multiplying because it's the easiest way to solve when you have a variable.
You are pretty much setting each of them equal to eachother.
to prove that my method is correct, I can will use simpler fractions that are easy to figure out:
2x
___=
18

1
__
3

2x(3)=18(1)
6x=18
x=3

ANYWAYS:
To answer your question, J=1

Can you please answer these geometry math problems for me?

We Answered:

1) Two of those are easy,although the picture is horribly incomplete. D is 1/8 of the area of the whole circle, where the circle has radius 10 and hence area 100 pi. C seems to be a 5x5 square, with area 25.

From that you can get A+B. Also, A+2B+C is 1/4 the area of the circle, and you know C, so you can get A+2B. Well, if you know A+B and A+2B, you subtract the first from the second to get B. And then you subtract that from A+B to get A.

Please help with this geometry math problem?

We Answered:

Let's look at the scale. 1 square is 3 ft by 3ft which would be 9 square feet per square.

Your house is 4500 square feet, so divide that by the 9 square feet and you should find your answer!

Need help with a simple geometry math problem?

We Answered:

well all triangles have exactly 180 degrees so all three angles must add up to 180:

8x + 11x -1 + 7x -1 = 180 -> 26x -2 = 180 -> 26x - 182 -> x = 7

Law of detachment in symbolic form:

Modus tollens:
