There is an online series that is for sale at many college bookstores. It's called "Plato". The nice thing about this series is that the software works regardless of whether you have access to the online class. And...the book is only about $5-10.

I'm not a big fan of using the Plato book by itself. It has very few practice problems...so you will need to pick up a supplemental text or two. These are also cheap, if you go to a used book store.

My suggestion would be to pick up a Plato book (from a college bookstore) and a couple of other texts (from a used bookstore). Between the two, you should be able to get a pretty good grasp on these topics.

Also, many college campuses have 'math labs' for the students. Many times, they don't ask for your student I.D. You can simply walk in , and a tutor will assist you. You may want to take a 'tour' of some local junior colleges under the pretext of taking classes there. Ask some questions about how much help is available. Then, if you run into a snag, you can stop by for some extra help, and they will assume that you decided to take the class.

Here is an idea. Play it like an ordinary bingo game, but instead of drawing the numbers by chance, you let the numbers be the outcome of your exercises. The first to find the answer, can use the number on his bingo card.
This probably works better if you divide up the class in groups.
