Algebra 1 Help
We Answered:
Let the record high temerature of the city be xTherefore, the record Low temperature is x-124
Given:
x+(x-124)=72
2x-124=72
2x=196
x=98
So the record high temperature is 98 degrees and the record low temperature is 98-124= -26 degrees

algebra 1.?We Answered:
Because the y factor is multiplied by 2. See the following table.y=x^2 y=2x^2
-------------------------------------
y=1^2=1 y=2*1^2=2
y=2^2=4 y=2*2^2=8
y=3^2=9 y=2*3^2=18
The above three examples show that no matter the value of x, the value of y for y=2*x^2 will be twice the size of the value for y=x^2.

For the second one:::::-2a+5c X -3c first plug in the a and the c's were it supposed to be but one thing u should remember is that when u plug in something u should put that in parenthesis so it would be:::-2(-1)+5(2) -3(3)
2+10 X (-9)
2+(-90)
answer is 88. Don't forget PEMDAS= Parentheses exponents multiplication division add subtract.
Now the one thing is im not 100% sure if that is the correct answer but its been a while since ive had algebra 1. i still remember some stuff tho.
